Vita Duo recliner | Lift chair
The Vita DUO lift chair is designed for anyone who wants to stand up safely and comfortably, without effort. What makes the DUO unique is its dual motor: the backrest and the leg rest are operated independently of each other, so you can tailor the chair precisely to your posture and your needs.
Ideal for seniors, for people recovering from hip or knee surgery, or for anyone who struggles to get up each day. The handset is ergonomic and intuitive — even if you are not technically minded.
The upholstery is finished in high-quality cowhide leather and available in taupe and brown — two timeless shades that suit any interior.

Frequently asked questions
What is the advantage of two motors?
On a chair with a single motor, the backrest and the footrest always move together: as the back reclines, the footrest comes up with it. The Vita Duo has two motors that you operate separately. So you can sit upright with your legs raised, or lean far back with your feet low. You set every position exactly the way you want it.
I'm fairly tall — are my lower legs fully supported?
The footrest of the Vita Duo is extra long and rises extra high, so that longer legs are fully supported too and your heels don't hang over the edge. The armrests also have extra padding at elbow height — you notice it most when you spend a whole afternoon in the chair.
Does the chair stay firmly in place on its castors?
Yes. The four castors are there so you can roll the chair around effortlessly when cleaning or rearranging — you don't need a second pair of hands. Afterwards you simply lock the castors, so the chair stays firmly in place, including when you use the lift function.
Is the Vita Duo suitable after hip or knee surgery?
Yes. The electric lift function raises you calmly and under control, so you don't have to put any strain on your hip or knee. For anyone who struggles to get up each day, that makes a big difference.
What is the maximum user weight, and how big is the chair?
The recommended maximum user weight is 110 kg.

A handset with a safety loop?
We attach the handset with a handy little leather loop (see photo). Does the handset slip out of your hands? No problem — the loop stops it from falling to the floor. You simply pull on the cable to bring the handset easily back into your hand.
Can the Vita Duo also be used without a power socket?
The Vita Duo runs from a mains plug as standard. A battery is available as an option and is easy to connect, so the lift function keeps working when there is no socket nearby or during a power cut.
How does delivery work?
Delivery is free and you choose the date that suits you best.
What if something breaks, even after the warranty?
Every chair comes with the two-year legal warranty. If something breaks, you don't have to send the chair back: Swiss Relax has its own repair service that comes to your home, reachable on Sundays too.
Because we design our chairs ourselves, we keep the parts in stock for at least 5 years after purchase. So even once the warranty period is over, you can still come to us.
Long-term service
You don't buy a recliner for just 2 years
In the furniture trade, service usually stops after the two-year legal warranty. If something breaks after that, buying a new chair is often the only option.
At Swiss Relax it works differently. We design our recliners ourselves, which is why we keep the parts in stock ourselves too. Is a part faulty? Then we repair your chair instead of selling you a new one.
No referral to an outside repair service: we come to you ourselves and repair on the spot. Even years after your purchase.
