What is half leather?

Half-leather is a well-known term in the furniture industry that shows that an armchair is finished with the combination of leather and leather look. The majority of the upholstery consists of leather, but some parts can be made of leather look
to exist. This method can also be found in the automotive and shoe industries.

Practical:

We finish part of the side and back of the seat with artificial leather and cover the rest of the seat with cow leather.

02

Advantages of this combination:

  • The back and side of the seat do not undergo any wear. Leather look allows us to finish the seat without the need for large, and more expensive, pieces of leather. You will notice the price advantage in our prices.
  • The type of artificial leather we use for this is elastic and sturdy. This allows us to give the back of the seat a nicer and sleeker finish. It can also take a beating.
  • You need to feed the leather of the seat occasionally. You do not need to do this for the side and back of the seat. Maintenance is therefore slightly faster and easier.
