The "Clock Principle": From Television to Rollator in One Smooth Movement
Picture your living room as a clock:
You are sitting in your chair at 6 o'clock, looking straight ahead at the television at 12 o'clock. Your rollator is parked safely to one side at 3 o'clock.
With an ordinary riser recliner:
The chair pushes you straight forward, towards 12 o'clock. Once you are standing, you have to turn 90 degrees on your own legs to reach your rollator at 3 o'clock. That turn carries the greatest risk of stumbling, falling or pain in the hips and back.
With the Sereno riser recliner:
You first turn the chair while still seated, from 12 o'clock to 3 o'clock. When you then use the stand-up function, you come to stand directly in front of the handles of your rollator. You only need to reach out your hands and you can set off safely right away.
Materials used
- A 4-rod base, blade design in stainless steel;

- With plug for the socket.
- Battery is optional and connectable.
Safety lock
The Sereno turns smoothly, but gets stuck as soon as you use the stand-up function.

Frequently asked questions
Operation with safety loop?
We attach the remote control with a handy leather loop (see photo). Does the remote accidentally slip from your hands? No problem! The loop prevents it from falling to the ground. In addition, you can easily pull the remote control back into your hand via the cable.
Is the Sereno suitable after hip or knee surgery?
Yes, the Sereno is ideal after hip or knee surgery. The electric stand-up function lifts you up in a controlled manner, so you don't have to put any pressure on your joints.
What is the maximum user weight for the Sereno?
The Sereno is suitable for users up to 100 kg. The two motors each deliver 8,000 N of force, ensuring smooth and safe operation.
Can the Sereno also be used without a power outlet?
The Sereno works with a plug as standard. An optional battery is available and easy to connect, so you can use the lift function even without a power socket.
What if the Sereno is defective? Who repairs it?
Swiss Relax has its own repair service, also available on Sundays. You don't have to send the chair back — we come to your home.
